Qamar Al-Deen juice (Dried Apricot juice)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups (750 ml) hot water
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 400g apricot leather (1 pack), or 400g dried apricots
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 1 tsp. orange blossom (optional)

Method

  • Combine the hot water and sugar in a large bowl, stirring until the sugar dissolved.
  • Cut the apricot leather into pieces and soak in the sugar water above, overnight in the fridge.
  • The next day, pour the apricot leather and the water into a blender or a food processor and puree with the orange blossom.
  • add the remaining 3 cups cold water and mix well
  • Refrigerate until served.
