Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Medjool dates
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1 Cup Almond Flour
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ Cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. Canola Oil
  • ¾ Cup Hot water
  • 1 Tbsp. Hazelnut butter (Optional)

Method

  • Place date in a bowl and pour hot water until they are soft (10 min)
  • Drain the dates and mix them with hazelnut butter (optional). Then keep them aside
  • In a food processor blend the dates then add the flour, egg, vanilla, honey or maple, canola oil, cinnamon, baking soda and salt
  • Mix well until combined then spread the mixture in preheated pan for approximately 20 min.
