Ingredients
- ½ Cup Medjool dates
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbsp. Honey or Maple Syrup
- 1 Cup Almond Flour
- ½ tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- ½ Cup cocoa powder
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. Canola Oil
- ¾ Cup Hot water
- 1 Tbsp. Hazelnut butter (Optional)
Method
- Place date in a bowl and pour hot water until they are soft (10 min)
- Drain the dates and mix them with hazelnut butter (optional). Then keep them aside
- In a food processor blend the dates then add the flour, egg, vanilla, honey or maple, canola oil, cinnamon, baking soda and salt
- Mix well until combined then spread the mixture in preheated pan for approximately 20 min.
