Almond Butter Brownies – Vegan & Gluten free (Optional)

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • ½ Cup brown sugar (or coconut sugar for refined sugar free)
  • ½ cup white sugar (or 2 tbsp maple syrup for refined sugar free)
  • 1/3 Almond Milk
  • ½ + ¼ cup All-purpose Flour + 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips (if you have vegan or dark chocolate chips)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
  • In a bowl, warm the almond milk then add the almond butter, vanilla, flax seeds, sugar and mix well until smooth. Tip: if you warm the almond butter before mixing it, it will be easier
  • In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, corn starch. Then Add them to the nut butter mix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips
  • Spray your brownie pan with non-sticky oil, then add the mix and bake for approximately 20 min
  • Cool down before cutting and serving
