How to deal with short temper and tantrums? My son who’s almost 4 is very short tempered and can easily have breakdowns and he will start screaming or hitting and as a result i start screaming and sometimes even hitting him because it is happenning very often and I’m really drained. Please advise.

So short tempers have many causes, firstly, it's in children’s gene, the way they are parented (screaming, hitting, punishment, not given enough space to explore themselves and to choose ) another reason is that the child was never taught how to understand his emotion and express them in a healthy way, you need to look into this and how to help him to express himself.
