It's okay if you're having problems breastfeeding. I know you will kill to feel that bond. People around you will be judgmental, even if they are with it or against it. So it's okay, don't feel guilty if you aren't able to breastfeed. Just remember that you are trying your best and you will share a bond with your baby no matter what.

It's okay to feel sad, angry and tired. People will make you think that you'll know exactly what to do once your baby is born, but that's not the case. You and your baby will be adapting to a lot of changes in the first few weeks, so don't be so hard on yourself. Remember it will get better with time and try to make the best of this journey in the present.

It’s okay to take care of yourself. If you have someone to help you with the baby, it's okay to go have a two-hour-long nap, a good meal or a long, relaxing shower. Pamper yourself! Your mood reflects on your baby, so take care of yourself.

It’s okay, your postpartum body will be back to normal in a few months' time. After all, you carried a little human inside of you for nine months. Accept and love your body and don't feel pressured by the judgement of others. Work it out the way you want to.

It's okay to keep the romance. I know both of you will have very busy schedules with the baby but remember that a healthy marriage is the best gift you can give a child. So plan a date night and go out with your husband; have a nice dinner, see a movie or take a walk. You can also still share some quality time when the baby is asleep. It doesn't take a lot of effort to show love and affection to your partner.

It’s okay Mama, you are perfect either way.
