While I was in the car the other day, I noticed a father driving and holding his baby on his lap. The incident also reminded me of the little girl that was waiting alone in the car while her mother was running a few errands. And I thought to myself, how can any parent even think that this makes sense?

A lot of us have dreamt of the day we would meet our little one and create a family. And after which we took an oath in our hearts that we would take care of and protect our family with everything we have. 

However, when the day had come and we became the parents we are today, it wasn't as easy as we thought it would be. We discovered that being accountable for your kids and their well-being is a difficult responsibility and definitely the most important role in your life. 

Parenting is not something you can perform without being aware and cautious. These little ones are the blessings of your life and protecting them from every possible danger they may face is your duty as a parent.

I’m certain all parents love their children and want the best for them, however, we can see so many forms of child neglect every single day.

Our children need empathy. They need our time, patience and guidance. We are a role model to them, and as they say “actions speak louder than words.” Sure we make mistakes, but there are some mistakes that you can't take back, and like a doctor’s mistake, cannot be reversed.
