Asparagus Salsa Pasta

Ingredients
Asparagus spears ( I had a bag of frozen asparagus in the freezer) Brown Rice Pasta Store bought salsa sea salt and black pepper 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp ginger paprika oregano
Method
Asparagus: I followed the cooking instructions on the bag
- Bring water to a boil in a pan on high heat
- Add the asparagus in the boiling water and cover with a lid then TURN OFF the heat and let it steam for 3-4 minutes until the asparagus is soft
- Drain the water
- add pepper, paprika and oregano on the asparagus and mix until asparagus is coated with the spices( i didn't measure here. Use your desired amount)
Pasta:
- Bring water to a boil in a pot on high heat, once the water is boiling add a generous amount of sea salt (about 3 tablespoons)
- add the pasta (use to how many mouths you need to feed ;) I used the whole box)
- Add the turmeric and ginger, stir until spices are combined.
- Let cook for about 10 minutes or until pasta is soft(brown rice pasta takes longer to cook)
